Guidelines for under graduate 4 year programme as per Ner Education Policy (NEP)
- The student will have to choose Major 1, Major 2, one minor and one co-curriculam subject.
- The subject that has been chosen as major subject can not be chosen as minor subject.
Course Of Study
Admission Procedure:
Application for admission to the first semester of B.A., B.Sc. (Bio & Maths) and B.Com. classes for Academic Session 2023-24 can be submitted online and offline.
Online Submission:
Online Application Form for admission is available on our college website : www.lcdc.ac.in. The total fees for online form submission is Rs. 850/- (Rupees Eight hundred and Fifty only) offline form can be obtained from the admission counter of the college by paying Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight hundred only). The payment can be made through any of the methods detailed in the instructions available on the Website.

The Application form once filled, will not be allowed to withdraw and no refund of any fees paid towards prospectus etc, will be made in any circumstances.
Eligibility For Admission:
Candidates who have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination are eligible to apply and compete for admission to Semester-I Classes of B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. for the academic session 2023 - 2024,
Compartmental Candidates may be allowed to apply on the condition that they will submit anaffidevit that if they are selected they will produce the final pass result at the time of admission, failing which their chance for admission will be forefeited.
All candidates should have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination in 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 or 2019.

Non fulfilment of the requirement of minimum marks shall result in rejection of the Application Form.
For admission to Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) either Intermediate with Commerce or Intermediate Arts with Economics or Intermediate Science with Mathematics is an essential requirement. Students of Biology are not eligible to join Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). For ascertaining the minimum marks obtained in Intermediate or equivalent examination, percentage of marks obtained in best of five relevant subjects will be taken. (Only for Examination Boards/Councils which do not provide "Grand Total of Marks Obtained".) A Candidate applying for more than one Course will have to fill separate application form and pay fee for each course separately.

ADMISSION RULES / PROCEDURE:
1. Eligible candidates will be admitted according to merit on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the Intermediate Exams added with the privilege marks. This total will be known as Merit Index and the admission will be granted on the basis of this Merit Index. The admission list of the selected candidates will be put up on the college notice board and the college Website. The college shall not be responsible for notifying any candidate individually.
Note: The total of Marks obtained in Intermediate Exams and the privilege marks in any case can not exceed the Maximum marks of Intermediate Exams.
In B.Sc.-I (Maths), Groups will be alloted through the counselling according to the candidate's Merit Position.
2. At the time of admission selected candidates will have to produce:
- Original marksheets of High School and Intermediate or equivalent examinations.
- Original Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate for regular candidates and Original centre suprintendent certificate for private candidates from the centre at which he has appeared for Intermediate or equivalent examination.
- Original Character Certificate. A Regular candidate will submit a character certificate from the Principal of the Institution last attended. Private candidates will submit a character certificate from a Gazetted Officer.

- Gap Certificate / Affidavit
- One attested copy each of the above certificates. (a-e)
- Original Certificate for Privilege Marks.

All the self attested photocopies of the documents have to be signed by the candidate before the admission committee.
3.Depositing the College Fee:
- Selected candidates will be required to pay the fee only in the form of a crossed Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque issued by any of the nationalised banks (preferably HDFC Bank) in favour of "Principal, Lucknow Christian Degree College" payable at Lucknow. No cash or personal cheques will be accepted.
- Candidates selected for admission shall be required to pay their fee on the datesalloted to them. If the required fee is not deposited in time, the admission shall be cancelled, forfeiting any claim on admission, and the candidate's seat will be given to the next candidate, in order of merit. The entire fee is to be paid at the time of admission which includes tuition fee, other college fee andthe University examination fee.
4. In case a candidate qualifies for admission in more than one faculty, he must exercise his option for one faculty/class only. Option once exercised shall be final. No change of faculty shall be allowed except if permitted by the Principal on genuine reasons.
5. Subject combination in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) shall be given on the basis of the Merit Index secured by the candidate and the choice given by him in the Application form, subject to the availability of seats. Except under any exceptional circumstances, no change of subject shall be allowed. Change of subject may be made within one month of admission at the discretion of the Principal only after depositing a fee of Rs. 100/-. This will be subject to the availability of seats and permission of Heads of Departments of subjects concerned. However, the candidate should inform such changes to the Central Office of the College.
6. Any admission made, by an inadvertent mistake or oversight by the admission committee or on the basis of wrong or incomplete information supplied by a candidate, shall be cancelled forthwith. The candidate shall have no claim in this case. The Principal reserves all rights of admission.
7. No refund of any fees shall be made once the candidate has taken admission.
