The new Academic Session for the students begins with an ‘Orientation Assembly’ where the students are introduced to the college culture, procedures and the staff.
Every year meritorious Staff and Students are recognized for their work by the College on the “College Recognition Day”.
Medium Of Instruction And Examination
Being an All-India Institution Lucknow Christian College has a number of students from non- Hindi speaking states and foreign countries. Hence the medium of instruction in the faculty of Science is mainly English; Hindi is mainly used in other faculties. However, in all faculties, Hindi and English are used bilingually so that students of bothlinguistic backgrounds can follow lectures. Examination papers are printed in both English and Hindi. The University has given freedom to the students to write the examinations in Hindi or English. Students may consult Lucknow University Prospectus for details of courses, examination, attendance, relevant ordinances etc.
Co-Curricular Activities
Lucknow Christian College aims at an all round development of its students. To this end a supervised programme of co-curricular activities is conducted by various departments to promote initiative and provide channels through which their abilities may develop in the right direction.
Moral And Spiritual Education (MSE)
Classes in Moral and Spiritual Education are held twice a week. Chapel services are held on two other days of the week in the Bishop Chitambar Memorial Chapel. All students are expected to attend and benefit from this service.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme is an Indian Government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the government of India. The programme aims to inculcate social welfare in students. NSS volunteers of the college work to ensure that every one in need gets help. They conduct several camps on sanitation, blood donation, environmental health and several social issues. It has been an integral part of the College since 1969.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of the armed forces with its headquarters in New Delhi. An organisation engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens, came to Lucknow Christian College in 1975. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. They are also encouraged to participate in training programmes held across the state and country throughout the year.
Academic Honours Society (AHS)
This is an exclusive society which comprises of top meritorious students with Chapters in different departments. This prestigious academic body is a unique forum to give recognition and encouragement to intellectual achievements.

Students Christian Movement (SCM)
Lucknow Christian College offers to its Christian students the membership of the Students Christian Movement. The SCM inculcates Christian teachings & values in students through regular Bible studies, retreats and other interactive programmes. The students also present carol programmes during the Christmas season.
Library And Book Bank
The college has a well equipped library with a vast collection of books & journals pertaining to all the subjects taught in the college. Besides these there are reference, fiction and general books also. The library subscribes all the leading newspapers & magazines. Books are issued to the students on a regular basis. There is also a provision for the economically weaker students of the college to take books on loan from the book bank of the college library for a whole session. The departments too have individual libraries.

Fee Concession
As per Govt. provisions, the College offers fee concessions to its deserving students.
Games And Sports
Facilities are available for the encouragement of ahigh degree of excellence in games and sports. There is a plenty of space for field events and games as well as well-maintained athletic tracks.
The Collegian (Annual Magazine)
The College magazine ‘The Collegian’ is published annually. The magazine encourages literary contributions from students and staff.
Computer Centre
The computer centre started with a single desktop in 1986 to introduce our staff and students to the world of computers. In 1995 Computer Applications course sponsored by UGC was initiated in the college and by 2017 it was replaced by Computer Science.

Career Conselling Cell
This cell makes the students aware of various career options available to them and helps the students to decide their career.
Placement Cell
This cell is responsible for arranging campus interviews and help students facing the interviews. Many National and Multi-national Companies have conducted interviews in our college, the selected candidates were issued the offerletters on the spot.
Eco-Friends Club
Membership of this club is open to the undergraduate students of all the Departments of the college.
The activities of the club include spreading of environmental awareness among all sections of society, especially the student community. Other activities include quiz competitions at Inter - collegiate/inter-faculty levels and talks by renowned scientists, visits to institutes, poster competitions with emphasis on increasing leadership and concern for the environment.
AIDS Awareness Cell (AAC)
The college has a AIDS Awareness Cell. The cell aims to prepare volunteers to make people aware of this disease.
Alumni Association
The Alumni Association registers and keeps a record of former students of LCC. Itis a body which provides feedback to the College regarding the progress of alumni registered, contribution received and activities planned from time to time.

Indira Gandhi National Open University Study Centre
IGNOU study centre in the Lucknow Christian College was established in 1991. It was a huge help to those students who wished to pursue their education but could not find the time and means to do it as a regular course. The distance education programmes run by the open university have immensely contributed to the educational canvas of the city. The centre at the Lucknow Christian College offers Post Graduate courses, Under-Graduate courses, PG Diplomas, Short term Diploma and other Certification courses in various streams.
